Geoethics and IAGETH in the 15th National Geological Congress of Colombia
IAGETH is pleased to inform you that the “XV Congreso Colombiano de Geología” will include a specific Theme entitled “Educación de las Geociencias y Geoética” (Geoscience Education and Geoethics). It is the first time that Geoethics is included in this relevant geological conference.
This was achieved thanks to extraordinary work carried out by Profs. Michel Hermelin Arbaux (IAGETH National Chapter, Colombia) and Orlando Navas (IAGETH member, Colombia), who promoted the incorporation of the subject “Geoethics” as one of the 24 Themes of the Congress.
The XV Congreso Colombiano de Geología is organized by the Geological Society of Colombia (in collaboration with ECOPETROL and the “Universidad Industrial de Santander”), and it will be held in Bucaramanga, la “Ciudad Bonita” (31 August – 5 September 2015).
